I offer classes and one to one sessions in Chichester, near Portsmouth & Worthing, West Sussex and in Reigate, Surrey. I also lead yoga holidays and retreats.
I am a BWY certified teacher based in Chichester and have many years of teaching experience with a life long passion for yoga.
These classes are weekly and open to all regardless of age, experience or general fitness. As a professional yoga instructor, I ensure that each individual is able to work at their own pace in accordance with their own personal limits and goals; this means that beginners and those with experience can practise along side each other.
Sessions may be suitable for students who wish to regain a sense of wellness after an operation or injury but you should check with your medical adviser first. I will ask you to complete a health questionnaire and will request additional information as necessary.
I offer classes at the following locations:
Classes in your own home
I offer one to one yoga sessions for you in your own home. This could also include your partner. The benefit of this is that we arrange a time that is entirely convenient for you so you can practise without having to leave the comfort of your house. This option could suit you if you are very busy and perhaps don't have a fixed time when you could attend a general class.
One to one sessions may also appeal to you:
Other specialist classes include:
"Escape to India to find peace and to restore your inner self"
I am planning my 2026 holiday and details will be released soon.
It will be suitable for single travellers, couples and friends. All levels as well as beginners are most welcome.
The price will include all yoga tuition, transfers to and from Trivandrum airport, a generous breakfast, chilled drinking water and complimentary tea and coffee.
Would you like more time practising yoga? Spending a whole day or half a day immersed in yoga is the perfect opportunity to grab some time for yourself to experience different yoga practises in depth and to meet like minded people. Throughout the year I lead a number of retreats which have previously been held at Lloyd Hall, Outwood, Surrey. I teach with my friend Gail Davies, a fantastic teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We design our retreats to be varied and fun ensuring that you return home feeling relaxed, revitalised and well fed since all our days include a delicious and nourishing home prepared meal.
We are planning our next event and will release details soon.
My classes are welcoming and suitable for everyone whether you are an experienced practitioner or are new to yoga as everyone practises to their own capacity. I give you agency to set your own thresholds so you can practise in a way that feels in tune with your needs on any given day.
In one to one sessions, I work with you, discussing your goals to ensure that our sessions together are completely tailored to align with your specific needs and interests.
A regular yoga practise can help you build a sense of embodiment, improve your movement patterns, improve strength, mobility, balance and suppleness in the body. It can help improve your posture.
Practising yoga regularly can also help improve many physical and mental conditions and ailments and give you a sense of enhanced well-being. Many people report that a balanced yoga practise improves their mental well-being and helps them to feel grounded allowing them to have a greater sense of ease with themself.
Practising postures – know as asana - helps us to become flexible and strong and improve balance. Asana will also keep the joints lubricated helping to maintain their mobility as most positions are weight bearing. As the exercises are weight bearing, asana help maintain bone density helping to combat osteoporosis. Practise can stimulate many of the bodies systems so can improve digestion, elimination and circulation.
Deep relaxation has many proven health benefits including slowing the heart rate and reducing high blood pressure and allows for a sense of rejuvenation of the body and mind.
Meditation leads to feelings of tranquillity and serenity that can be carried into all aspects of our lives and helps us to bring clarity. Meditation helps us to focus and be present encouraging us to live our best live in this moment.
Breathing practises known as pranayama help to increase lung capacity allowing more oxygen into the whole body. Breathing practises also work to calm emotions and lower stress levels.
I am a member of the British Wheel of Yoga and completed my teacher training in 2004. I am fully insured. Every year I undertake many hours of training with a variety of different teachers to continually learn and update my skills and knowledge.
My classes are welcoming and friendly, inclusive and open to all.
